Yes, the EklOr software includes basic user management, making it possible to limit access to the various functionalities of the software.

The EklOr software integrates numerous report editing functions.

To do this, Microsoft Excel and Word (32 bits) software are required.

Currently, the EklOr software manages a large part of National Instruments hardware (excluding RIO compacts). However, compatibility tests are still being carried out.And we're always looking to expand this list. Before purchasing a perpetual license, you have the opportunity to fully test the software over a period of 30 continuous days.If you have any incompatibility concerns, you can always report it to our teams, through the forum.Currently, communication between the EklOr software and a PLC is possible:
  • either through a cifX card from Hilscher (recommended solution)
  • soon through a Net-Host module from Hilscher
  • either through a serial link (Modbus RS-232/RS-485/RS-422)
  • either through a TCP/IP link (Modbus)
And more particularly through their protocols: Profibus DP, Ethernet/IP, Profinet.

To date, the EklOr software cannot be installed in the usual Microsoft Windows directories, such as "C:\Program Files" or "C:\Program Files (x86)".

Currently, it is necessary to install the EklOr software at the root of a hard drive.

Our teams are already working on this subject, we hope to be able to provide an update very soon.
